Monsal Dale is a well known scenic spot. The river Wye runs through it and there is a viaduct that carried the now abandoned High Peak Cromford Railway.

All the pictures were taken from near the railway's tunnel ventilation shaft. The railway line can be clearly seen running N-S through the centre of some of the pictures.
