Photo Ideas - Composition
When we've decided on the layout it is worth bearing in mind some points when taking your photos.
Many of you are masters at taking what I call artistic abstract shots. For example and may I say it hasn't gone un-noticed, Cris uses his survey scientific shots to great effect as a banner to the Group's pages. Naturally this is done by very clever cropping and having an eye for such things.
For our purposes (again once we've decided on layout) I'm hoping you will be able to at least have some control over the images you are submitting. By this I mean its display in the image container. The image size within the containers in Blurb can be manipulated but the container size can not be once the layout is decided.
This facility will help many of you who may be unsure as to what to send. In order to to help preserve colour correction throught the book, I would prefer that you send unedited original copy jpegs and they then can be manipulated in the container. If you are happy to do this yourself then fine OK but no colour correction if at all possible. If I have an issue I will mail the person concerned.
